About the Author
Pearl Award-winning songwriter Doug Walker graduated from Brigham Young University in 1996 with a degree in Music Media Composition and was a cast member in the final shows at Opryland, USA in Nashville in 1997. His album, Stones in the River, produced by Deseret Book in 2001, has continued to be a favorite among LDS music lovers. His new album, What Heaven Sees in You: Music for Every Daughter of God, is a collection of inspirational songs aimed at helping women and young women of all ages see their divine worth and live up to the potential within them. Doug has also written songs for other albums including Women of Destiny I and II, Celebrating the Music, Love is a Journey, His Love I and II, Whatever It Takes, A Shadow Mountain Christmas, as well as various EFY and other LDS music albums. Doug and his wife Sherry Marks Walker have three children and live in Northern Idaho.

Beautiful lyrics that touched the soul of this mother. I'd love to see the fireside mentioned in the accompanying booklet performed.

This CD is full of some of the most beautiful and inspiring music I have ever heard! Truly remarkable talent and incredible work!! I ordered a second copy to share with a very good friend who is a mother of 6, including two young daughters. :) I need to get another copy to keep in our vehicle so I can listen to this wonderful music at home and on the road! :) Thank you, Doug and Sherry, for sharing your awesome talents with us!!! :)

I absolutely love this CD! There are so many wonderful songs that talk about all the values I hold dear. I love the variety of artists who perform these songs. There is such a great mix and each voice seems to perfectly portray the messages intended in each song. My personal favorite song is "Faith". This song touches my soul and makes me want to do and be better. I think daddies everywhere will be buying strands of pearls for their little girls. I hope to see more music from Doug & Sherry Walker and other artists of their caliber in the future.

This is the first music of Doug Walker's that I've heard. It is the best of the best of LDS music. I want to share it with all of my friends and family. A perfect gift for young women. Beautiful melodies, touching lyrics, and inspiring messages. Wonderful album!
tears...the good kind

When I listened to this CD for the first time I cried on nearly every song. My heart was touched and reminded of the love that my Savior has for me as a daughter of God. The song Faith reminds me that if I could let go of the small things in my life that I think are so important then I could have so much more that the Lord has in store for me. Having a daughter of my own I hope that she listens to this CD and remembers her great worth.

I LOVE this CD and so does my family!! Doug picked just the right voices and people to sing his beautiful creations!! My 5 year old daughter loves Doug's music SO MUCH that this is what she falls asleep to-and she knows many of the songs by heart. Thanks Doug for a wonderful CD!!

This music is beautiful and very inspirational. When I listen to it, I am reminded of my divine nature and individual worth. I have shed many tears while listening to this CD. Each song is unique and filled with the spirit. I would encourage all to buy it and listen to it regularly! I love this music. I find myself listening to it over and over again. What beautiful work!! I have been a fan of Doug and Sherry's music for some time and once again I am thrilled to have another inspired collection of their amazing talents. This music has fed my soul. I especially like the new rendition of The Mountain of The Lord. Thank you for writing and performing the song Faith. The story behind the song has had significant power in my life.
