What I Wish I'd Known in High School

Imagine what it would be like being a Latter-day Saint teenager
today. It could get pretty tough at times, and frustrating too. Popular
youth speaker John Bytheway used to wish that someone or some book
could have answered more of his questions when he was young — mostly
the Why? kinds of questions. In a positive, thought-provoking way, John
Bytheway outlines each chapter as if it were a class in high school.
Classes cover such subjects as self-esteem, chastity, popularity, the Book
of Mormon, and why there are so many churches. There's a break from
class for an assembly where the author discusses being Christlike every
day. He explains that more important things are going on than what to
wear and where to go on the next date. While explaining and answering
common questions and frustrations of LDS young people, the author also
subtly challenges and stretches their abilities, motivating them to seek
the way and will of the Lord.

John Bytheway has done it again! What I wish I'd known in high school is a wonderful book that answers tons of questions that teens might be embarresed to ask. It is wonderful!
