About the Author
Deanna Buxton is the mother and favorite cook of four kids. She is the author of the Worldwide Ward Cookbook series, published by Covenant Communications. Working on these cookbooks has allowed Deanna to get recipes and stories from people all over the world. Aside from her cookbook projects, Deanna spends her time teaching cooking classes in the community and being with her family. Deanna and her husband live in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

I truly love this book. It has such fun and delicious recipes and such heartwarming stories about the moms they come from. I can't decide what I love more...the recipes or the stories. I love to curl up on the couch to read it and then make something delicious when I resurface! The recipes come from moms all over the world...yet all of the recipes are wonderful and ..uh.. normal. :) not a single weird recipe in the book. My favorite -- Strawberry Heaven from a cute girl in Iceland. Strawberries, coconut, chocolate, cream....ahhhh heaven!
Favorite cookbook in my collection!

I have and love all four of the Worldwide Ward cookbooks, and this one is my favorite. As a new mom, I love to read about the other moms and how they love to make their families favorite foods. I have yet to make a dish from this book that my husband (and myself!) doesn't love!

I am so thrilled with Mom's Best! I love reading all of the stories behind the recipes. I read it from cover to cover the first day I got it as a gift from my family. The recipes are from real moms like me from all over the world! This is a treasured addition to my Worldwide Ward cook book collection.
