A study that ties The Old Testament, New Testament and "Another Testament" together. The success behind the LDS Church is attributed to several distinctive doctrines and practices. One of the most distinctive doctrines is its relationship to the "Biblical Churches", ie. its similarities or parallels with the Israelites of the Old Testament and the Christians of the New Testament. It is most difinitely a Christian Church, but it is neither Protestant nor Catholic. It claims to be a "Restored Church"- its doctrines and organization have been restored by direct communication or revelation from the Lord to modern Prophets.

Just as the "Biblical Churches" were led by Prophet and/or Apostles, the LDS Church claims that same leadership. This study is a correlation of the relationship and its objective is to show, in undeniable terms, the similarities between Moses, Jesus, Joseph Smith, and the similarities between the Israelites, the early Christians, and the Latter-day Saints.
