About This Item

FOUR FAITH PROMOTING CLASSICS

Four Faith Promoting Classics in a compilation of four short books published by the Juvenile Instructor for the Church in the 1880's "to show the power of God was manifested in behalf of the Saints in the early days."

The four volumes are titled:

A String of Pearls

Fragments of Experience

Gems for the Young Folks

Early Scenes in Church History

The book is filled with personal experiences that inspire and strengthen our faith. Read the thrilling accounts of miraculous, soul-stirring episodes in the lives of the early Saints. Many of the early prominent Church leaders contributed articles, and many of these stories are found only with the pages of this book.

There are experiences of life among the Poncas Indians, missionary incidents, prophecy and its fulfillment, anecdotes of various elders, and many other truly inspirational occurences that fill the reader's spirit with joy and wonder.

Book is hardcover in good condition, dustjacket shows wear wih a few tears, a couple small taped missing pieces, price corner has been cut off on the inside fold on dustjacket. On flyleaf is last owners stamped name and address. Copyright 1968.
