The purpose of The Book of Mormon is that of another great witness of the divinity of Jesus Christ. In addition to being this special witness, the book is also of great historical worth. Its writings cover a span of over 3,000 years and provide much insight into the early Americans.

Dr. Paul R. Cheesman presents herein the teachings of Joseph Smith, sole translator of The Book of Mormon plates, about the book and its coming forth.

The interesting and little-known facts abouts its translation, the appearance of Heavenly messengers in connection with the book, and the manuscript copies of the translation, are all intiguing and absorbing topics treated by Dr. Cheesman.

Book is hardcover in good condition, dustjascket shows wear and tears, creases and scratches. One cover corner has couple tiny creases, cover corners and spine corners show little wear. On inside cover is a mark where a price sticker got pulled off and it took little bid of the top layer of paper. Flyleaf has a smudge where a price sticker was, it has last owners message, its signed by Author and couple others. Some pages are ear marked. Their are some black and white pictures in book.
