The book was published by Taggart & Company in a limited edition of 2,500 (stated) so is obviously scarce. "It is at once the tale of a young Tom Sawyer in an early Mormon settlement, yet the saga of a strong-willed, courageous man who feared none but loved all." In the book "He vividly relives many colorful memories of his later life. His first clash as a teacher with the class tough. Watching a Navajo Indian, bewildered and unbelieving, in the man's first experience with Alexander Graham Bell's mysterious talking machine.
