Dennis B. Horne was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised in Bountiful. He served in the Missouri Independence Mission, returning to attend Brigham Young and Weber State Universities. He received his B. S. in Communications from WSU. For a number of years he worked in the television industry at two local Salt Lake City stations. He has taught seminary for the Church Educational System as well as serving as a gospel doctrine and elders quorum instructor. He is married to the former Celia Benson, and they are the parents of two girls. They currently reside in Layton, Utah.
