Sally DeFord was born a long time ago (1959) in Eugene, Oregon. She attended Brigham Young University, where she became and avid BYU fan and met her husband, Dennis. Sally and Dennis have lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, since 1988. They have four children – Jennifer, Holly, Amy, and Danny (who is a senior in high school and the only one left at home) – and one adorable grandson. Sally is currently serving as Relief Society president in her ward. In the few minutes of spare time left between the kids, the calling, the composing, and the Cougars, Sally loves to tread anything she can get her hands on.
