Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist Julie de Azevedo Hanks holds a B.S. in psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah. In 2002, she founded Utah’s Wasatch Family Therapy, where she serves as clinical director and counsels LDS women, couples, and families. A sought after media contributor, Julie regularly offers expert emotional health and relationship advice on KSL TV’s Studio 5.

As an award-winning performing songwriter, Julie has produced 10 CDs and contributed to numerous musical projects over the past few decades. Her best known songs include the inspirational classics “Window To His Love” and “Mercy’s Arms.” Julie & her husband Jeff Hanks have 4 wonderful children ranging in age from preschooler to college student. In her “spare” time she is finishing up her first book on women’s emotional self-care to be release Fall 2012.
