Elder Bruce D. Porter was sustained to the Second Quorum of the Seventy in 1995. Prior to his call as a Seventy, Elder Porter was a specialist in Russian politics and international relations. He served in a variety of positions in government and education. He and his wife, Susan Holland Porter, are the parents of four children.
