Anna Jones Buttimore lived in North Wales for seventeen years, attending university at Bangor and later working in an estate agent (real-estate) office next door to Bangor Police Station. She still misses the peace and quiet, the scenery, and hearing the Welsh language spoken, but is happy to be living again where she grew up, in southeast England, where it is possible to get a pizza delivered at 3:00 AM.

Anna works part time from home for a national charity. She is the mother of three daughters called Gwenllian, Angharad, and Ceridwen. Anna and her husband, Roderic, enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, watching sci-fi, and generally being complete geeks together.
