Emily Halverson, her husband Jared, and their five young children reside in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to raising her children, Emily freelances as an editor and writer. Her essays have been published in The Mother in Me and Mother’s Wisdom, and she was the co-editor of The Latter-day Saint Sacrament Speaker’s Resource Book. Emily is also a writer and editor for
