Ronald L. Fox is the president of The Fox Group, a public affairs company in Salt Lake City and Washington DC. Since 1972, Fox has been a member of a trusted volunteer force, aiding the White House Advance Office and U.S. State Department Protocol Office as he’s assisted Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush as well as Vice Presidents Quayle, Rockefeller, and Cheney. He has also assisted with the planning and execution of numerous visits of foreign heads of state, including the presidents of China, Ecuador, Brazil, and the Philippines, the King of Sweden, Queen of England, secretary general of the United Nations, Dali Lama, and the Pope. In November of 2002, Fox assisted at the NATO Summit in Prague, Czech Republic, helping coordinate the activities of Mrs. Laura Bush. In 2004, he attended the G-8 Summit held at Sea Island, Georgia, where he was responsible for the presidents of Iraq and Uganda.
While working eleven years in the California State Senate, he and his wife, Linda, helped create the original organization and first chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD). In 1992, 1996, and 2000, he was elected a delegate to the Republican National Conventions and was selected to be the 1996 delegation executive director and the platform delegate in 2000. In May of 2000, he was elected a member of the United States Electoral College. In early 1999, he was appointed the State executive director of the George W. Bush for President Committee and was the State vice-chair for Bush/Cheney ’04 in Utah. In 1997 and 2001, he served as the executive director of Governor Leavitt’s inaugural committee.
Fox has been married for thirty-four years to Linda; they have three children: Jennifer Fox Young, Elizabeth Fox Wilson, and Kari Fox Hardy. Fox and his wife reside in North Salt Lake, Utah.
