Sharon Greene Larsen was born and raised in Canada where she was in the top 10 of her high school graduating class. (There were 10 people in the class!) She attended the University of Alberta and graduated from Brigham Young University. She taught in elementary schools in Utah and Missouri. She wrote, produced and starred in programs for the Utah Network for Instructional Television. She has served on the Young Women general board and in the general presidency. She taught institute at two colleges. She and her husband Ralph are the parents of two children and three grandsons.
