
Linda Hoffman Kimball graduated from Wellesley College and holds an M.F.A. degree from Boston University. She is a writer and illustrator whose works have been published in the Ensign, New Era, Friend, Exponent II, and This People, as well as in books by several East Coast publishers. She spoke at the 1993 BYU-Relief Society Women’s Conference and at the ‘Mormons as Americans’ symposium at Boston University in 1996. Her novel Home to Roost was published by Hatrack River in 1995. She served for several years as public affairs director in Chicago for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She now lives in Belmont, Massachusetts, with her husband, Christian, and their three children, and serves as homemaking counselor in her ward Relief Society.
