
As a full-time Deseret Book associate, your employee benefits average 35% of your total compensation—a financial value often overlooked. Benefits for full-time employees include the following:
Insurance. Includes medical, dental, life, disability, accidental death or dismemberment insurance. Insurance plans are administered through Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators.
Paid personal leave and paid holidays. New associates are eligible to earn up to 12 days per year in paid personal leave (can be used after 90 days) and 10 paid holidays per year.
Special paid sick leave. Special sick leave is available for extended medical leaves. Accrued paid leave can be converted at the end of each year—each hour of paid leave converts to three hours of special sick leave.
Retirement and savings plans. Deseret Book offers a 401(k) savings plan with a rich company match to eligible associates. All contributions made to 401 (k) savings plans are immediately vested.
Leaves of absence. Includes funeral, jury, military, and medical leave.
Complementary copies. Complimentary copies of company produced products are available for associates in exempt-level positions.
Additional benefits. Other benefits for full-time associates include birthday gift card, holiday gift certificate, membership in the Deseret Book Association, annual awards banquet, and UTA Eco Pass (corporate associates only).
