Two of the world's most foremost opera singers join with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square in an extraordinary musical Christmas celebration. This spectacular performance of the Choir's 2003 Christmas concert features special guests, Frederica von Stade, beloved mezzo-soprano and Bryn Terfel, world renowned Welsh baritone. Capturing the musical spirit of the season, the program blends traditional favorites such as "Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful" and "The First Nowell" with Christmas music of other lands and cultures. From the Nigerian carol "Betelehemu" to "Tua Bethlehem dref," a Welsh carol sung by Byrn Terfel, and "A Bethleem allons vite!," a Czech carol performed by Frederica von Stade, the international flavor of the program reflects the common bond of Christmas shared throughout the world.

A Christmas Favorite!
Jordyn, UTAH - December 30, 2008
This is a must for me at Christmastime. Whenever I feel like I need a little lift or to feel the Christmas spirit a little stronger, I watch this. I love Bryn, the Welsh baratone, he brightens the whole performance with his humor and beautiful talent. This is a treasure.
