We bought this for my son when he turned one and he loves it. He's now 19 months and it keeps him very entertained. Mostly he loves the pages with Velcro and will ignore the rest of the pages.

My only complaint is that the buttons (that hold on the brother of Jared's stones) come off very easily. My 2 1/2 year old niece pulled one off trying to get the "stone" off, and since then, my son has pulled the other button off trying to do the same.
