A book to avoid

I was so disappointed. Again. , I thought this book would have a spiritual message, but instead it twisted something sacred (the gift of healing) into someting more like sci-fi written by a non-member. I read it in one night and it took most of the next day to get rid of the creepy feeling it gave me. , In the book a little boy has a near-death experience and comes back a magical healer, who heals with a single touch, and 'reads peoples auras'. He can tell what people are like by what color he sees glowing around them. Yikes! , I have repeatedly bought, then thrown away, books by Mr. Evans because they aren't as wholesome as I had expected, especially from an LDS author. (The 'Christmas Box' trilogy seemed okay, as far as I can remember.) I hadn't read any Evans since before 'Last Promise' was pulled off the shelves. I just gave him another shot, and wish I hadn't. , The main character gets a massage, naked, from his girlfriend and gets so relaxed he doesn't care abou...
