Drawing on a wealth of knowledge, experience, and insight, popular speaker and author Dr. John L. Lund shares real tools to enhance your marriage relationship. In this enlightening fireside talk on DVD, Dr. Lund uses his trademark humor, personal anecdotes, and gospel messages to help couples understand how they can progress in three areas in their marriage: improving communication, resolving differences, and avoiding criticism.
Dr. Lund teaches how to use “content communication” — to be “100 percent accountable for your words; to say what you mean and mean what you say.” He teaches the importance of conflict resolution. “Most relationships that fail don't do so because of a lack of love,” says Dr. Lund, “they fail because people don't know how to resolve differences in a healthy way.” He also teaches that criticism is often a forerunner of divorce, but couples can learn some simple skills to give and receive feedback in positive, approachable ways.
Whether you are newlyweds or more seasoned sweethearts, Dr. Lund's message will provide an enjoyable evening of thought-provoking insights and relevant, practical tools that will help you in Bringing Love Home.

WOW John has the answer.

This is great information for even the new married couple. I unfortunately have learned this after my wife divorced me. Married for 30 years. We are both faithful members who hold temple recommends. We had no idea what the language of respect was. I could never figure out what she wanted because of her comments 'that i should just know'. The report I read said 1 in 19 temple marriages are ending in divorce. John lund has solutions and technics to have a strong influence on your relationship. I wish I would have been taught these principles when I was young. You should buy a copy for anyone in a new relationship. The relationship of equals is clearly explained.
