Have you ever wondered if the gifts you are giving are the right ones? In this booklet adapted from a 1982 Ensign message, President Henry B. Eyring uses a story about a jar of cherries to explain that gift giving is much more than finding the perfect gift; it is understanding what the receiver needs and being willing to sacrifice joyfully to give it. He also helps us to understand the role of being a receiver, and how we must look for the sacrifice in others. This affordable booklet is ideal when you need meaningful gifts for friends, neighbors, and family members. It makes a great stocking stuffer, too! This Christmas, let us learn how we can give our own Gifts of Love.

I would give this away with your treat plates right after Thanksgiving and not wait until Christmas day. If you are a bishop, I would give it to every family at tithing settlement.

If you wait until Christmas then you run the risk that you'll read it this year, feel guilty, and then forget ab...
