Frequently Asked Questions
What happened to Deseret's Best
It has been replaced by Mormon Life's "Web Links" section. Sites featuring "Best" buttons do not need to change or remove the image and/or link. Links to Deseret's Best will be redirected to the Mormon Life's Web Links home page.
How do I submit a link for review and approval?
Simply click the "Submit a Link" button on this or any page in this section. Then, follow the instructions.
Why do I have to log in to submit a link?
We require you to log in so that we know who to contact should their be a problem with the site (ie. content, incorrect address, etc.). Requiring an email address from submitters also significantly reduces the amount of fraudulent or "joke" submissions that we recieve, many of which do not meet our criteria.
Are all of these links "Family Safe"?
Sites are reviewed as they are submitted, however, we do not review older links on a regular basis. Since it is impossible to check each of our
thousands of links everyday (or even every month for that matter), we can not
guarantee that a new site located at the same address of a site that was once LDS-related will be appropriate for families or children. This is especially a problem with personal homepages and sites located in such mass-hosting "neighborhoods" as Geocities, Angelfire, and Fortune City.
What should I do if I find a link to a questionable site?
Please email us, so that we
can review the site as soon as possible. Please include the URL of the site, its location in our listing, and any pertinent comments on the offensive content.
