I bought this book for my 18 year old son to get him excited about going on his mission. I read it first and it got me excited! It seems such a timely story, as the bar is being raised not only on being worthy to go on a mission, but also on the way missionary work is being structured. The old memorized discussions are out, teaching as directed by the spirit is in. This true story is about a creative, energetic missionary who does just that, and who memorizes scriptures to be equipped in the spirit. Interestingly, this is the very approach now being emphasized in the MTC. Inspirational and very relevant. Funny and fast moving too. Highly reccommended.
