It is estimated that the average household has the television on for more than seven and a half hours a day. What a colossal waste of time! In this talk on CD, John Bytheway describes the spiritual impact and the intellectual damage that can come by watching too much television. He documents how television programming has become more worldly, and how the goals have television producers have also changed over time. Using humor, scriptures, and quotes from Church leaders, he encourages listeners to go outside, work on a hobby, or pick up a good book. Brother Bytheway believes we should 'stop watching other people live their dreams on television, and start living some of our own.'

My Mother gave this CD to me (clearly hinting at something) It's one of my favorites by John Bytheway. with his impressions (the best Barney Fife I've ever heard) Listening to John always makes me commit to be a Better Person- with joy. John has a way of boosting people up has a way of make people want to be more- and laugh all at the same time! This one is a great one for the collection
