Divorce is striking LDS families at an alarming rate, but the tragedy need not consume us. Mormon and Single... Again explores the humor in the lives of those who are LDS and divorced. From blind dates to family gatherings (and back to blind dates), the life of a divorced Mormon is filled with absurdity and irony. Brother Clark draws upon his background as a therapist and appeals to the reader's sense of humor to introduce a sense of perspective. This humorous look at life strikes a healing chord with readers, so they can move forward with strength and courage.

But this book is not just for members who have suffered through their own divorce. Most members of the church today have a sibling, child, or friend who is struggling to deal with the emotional and spiritual trauma of divorce. Mormon and Single... Again takes you inside the lives of LDS divorcees so you can gain an understanding of their world. This isn't another depressing book about divorce. You will laugh until you cry as you learn a little about those around you, and you'll walk away feeling uplifted and enlightened.

Recommended for both married and single as it is both humorous and educational.

S. Mahlon, UTAH - January 17, 2006

David Clark shows in a humorous way that being single again, with children, is no joke. It is inspiring to those of us who have not experienced those challenges, showing how humor can help when faced with the type of adversity the modern world often presents. The book also gives a glimpse into the struggles being single presents, and which the rest of us, even in church, overlook, judge, or classify. It presents a good look at our culture, and how we unthinkingly, often add to someone else's burden. The book should be read be all members of the church, single or married, both for entertainment and education.
