On the days I say &quot;No&quot; they try to convince me that we really need to read the book and forget whatever else we were supposed to be doing. Rarely have I seen a book captivate so many kids all at the same time. Bravo to J. I liked the characters, especially Marcus, Kyja, and Master Therapass. I liked how they each had a &quot;disability,&quot; yet with their creativity and ingenuity they were able to work together and overcome those shortcomings. I liked that they were both strong characters and didn&#x27;t give up. Master Therapass reminded me a lot of Gandalf from &quot;Lord of the Rings.&quot; I thought it was well written and had some fun surprises.
