I liked the characters, especially Marcus, Kyja, and Master Therapass. I liked how they each had a \"disability,\" yet with their creativity and ingenuity they were able to work together and overcome those shortcomings. I liked that they were both strong characters and didn't give up. Master Therapass reminded me a lot of Gandalf from \"Lord of the Rings.\" I thought it was well written and had some fun surprises. It was clean, except for some minor violence, so I recommend it for 4th grade and up.
