Thank you for sharing this SWEET experience with us!

Your experiences:

I had been looking forward to attending TOFW with my friends ever since I found out Hilary Weeks would be there.I came needing my cup filled and a spiritual boost and that is exactly what I got and then some. I am mother of 3 boys and I needed a Time Out for myself. All the speakers were wonderful especially Emily Freeman and Hilary's music has a way of touching the soul and spirit like nothing else can. I look forward to going again.
—Jennie

What a great day! Every talk and song was something that I either needed or have been trying to deal with. Thank you!
—Iris

My friend and I have been to four different TOFW experiences since last November. We drove all the way to Pocatello because we felt it had all the authors that make up our dream team. All of the presenters were wonderful. Jenny seemed much more "herself" this time than she did in February and it made all the difference. Thanks for a wonderful experience and we'll see you in November.

If You Can Laugh at It, You Can Live with It

Keeping a sense of humor has health benefits, but it also blesses us spiritually. Humor helps us keep perspective, enrich relationships, and deal with trials and challenges. And anyone can have a sense of humor...you don't have to be born with it. You can train your mind to recognize and appreciate appropriate humor. So come relax, enjoy, and laugh out loud (a lot) with one of our favorite new TOFW couples. (Sometimes Brad doesn't even have to say anything. His laugh alone is funny!)

Singer/songwriter; producer; multiple Pearl Award winner; solo albums include Jenny Jordan Frogley and recently released Beautiful Life

Musical Presentation

Her resume is pretty impressive. She has sung with everyone from Ray Charles to The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She's a producer and a songwriter, but only after she's a wife and a mom. Finally out with her own albums of songs, we are thrilled to welcome Jenny to the TOFW family.

Member of the award-winning group Jericho Road; host on the long-running teen magazine show Center Street

Musical Performance

Abe is just one of those people that you love instantly. In addition to being an actor and well-known performer, he is also a father of four children, all still in "single digit" ages. He understands the importance of a "time out" and will entertain and inspire you with great songs.

Saturday

Top-selling female LDS artist; singer; songwriter; multiple Pearl Award winner; albums include He Hears Me, Day of Praise, and most recent, If I Only Had Today

Musical Presentation

She's an important part of TOFW because she really is just one of us. Hilary is a wife and a mother first and foremost; being a brilliant performer is secondary. She's funny and witty but has depth and substance as she shares her testimony of Jesus Christ through her songs.

Ph.D., University of Colorado; institute instructor; recipient, Orton Literary Award; author, House of Glory and When Your Prayers Seem Unanswered

The Personality of Jesus

"Let us draw near..." is an invitation not just to gather together, but to gather to Him. As we come to know who Jesus Christ is, our ability and our desire to draw near to Him increase. Throughout scripture there is example after example of the personality of the Savior-a personality full of acceptance, assistance, sensitivity, and sustaining love. From the Old Testament to modern revelation, Michael helps introduce us to the Jesus we need to know.

Weakness: Your Curse…or Your Blessing?

Are our weaknesses the means to foster our progression or the reasons we feel stuck? The truth is, understanding the source of weaknesses and learning to distinguish them from sins just might change your perspective on life. Wendy will help you put energy into developing your virtues and strengths so your weaknesses can take a back seat and go along for the ride instead of driving the car...and your life.

The Best Time to Be Alive

For some this is a time of darkness and discouragement. For others it is a time of excitement and peace. There is no doubt that we are living in the Last Days. But God is intensely interested in our time and has shown that He loves and defends His people. This just might be the best time to be alive-and it is not in spite of the growing darkness in the world, but maybe because of it, that we will feel the sweet assurance that God is at the helm. His plan will not fail...and neither will we.

Living the Abundant Life

When you think of an "abundant life," do you think of it as something you arrive at or something you create for yourself? Too many of us get caught up in saying "someday my life will be..." when really we can have that life NOW.  Through her own personal journey proactively seeking a more abundant life, Emily shares three principles that will help you find your own. Don't wait for "someday"; discover that life today.
