Thank you for sharing this SWEET experience with us!

Your experiences:

TOFW/RIC was my 5th TOFW!! I loved it! Speakers were great, facility was great & event was well managed. I came away uplifted & have a greater & "sweeter assurance" of my Heavenly Father's love for me.
—Sherry

This year was the first time I have attended a TOFW and it was the most wonderful experience I've had in a long time. I haven't laughed and cried so much in one and a half days as I did then, but I was so impressed with the way that the messages were presented with humor, music and true stories. It was so great being in the same room with so many of my sisters from all over. The love and sisterhood there was absolutely awesome. I felt so blessed to be there. I lost my husband on May 30 of this year and it's been so hard getting used to not having him around even though during the last three and a half years before he passed, he was in a nursing home. The music and the messages gave me a feeling of peace and joy in being a Latter-Day Saint woman. I know my husband is watching over me; he said he would and I know that because we were sealed in the temple, we will be together again. But right now, I need the friendship of my sisters in the gospel. I am making myself get more aquainted with the sisters in my ward, especially those who are new in the ward. The love I felt at TOFW in Richmond, has given me some renewed strength and direction for my life as a widow. I am so grateful for the presenters and the music and the sweet spirit that engulfed that entire ballroom. I am looking forward to the next time that there is a TOFW close enough to attend. I hope that someday you may consider coming to Virginia Beach, VA so that more Virginians will have the pleasure of being a part of the experience. Thank you so much for all that you do for so many women.
—Patricia

I went to the event for the first time this fall with my daughter. Travelling to the the event was a struggle and I just kept saying to myself " these experiences are going to make me appreciate the event more." Well, it did make up for the travel and more. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by so many people who felt the same way I did. The best and ultimate part was the SPIRIT that was in that room. I came in weary and tired of life beating on me and I left mended. My spirit soared! Thank you so much to everyone who organizes this event, all the speaker and guests who take time to come to our cities and give us the uplift we need in this down trodden world. Please know all your hard work and sacrifices are worth it. Thank you again!

Some famous entertainers are known by one name or one song. But Michael McLean is known for literally dozens of songs. And his songs say, sometimes almost perfectly, what all of us have felt. Because of that, chances are he’s written one just for you.

Musical Presentation

She's an important part of TOFW because she really is just one of us. Hilary is a wife and a mother first and foremost; being a brilliant performer is secondary. She's funny and witty but has depth and substance as she shares her testimony of Jesus Christ through her songs.

Former director of training, Missionary Training Center; former faculty, College of Nursing, BYU; author of Peculiar In a Good Way and MEE Speaks: But Does She Have Anything to Say?

Moving a Rubber Tree Plant

We know some of you know that song—you know, the one about the ant? Really? You don’t? Well, then, you are in for a treat. MEE has been learning about resilience: how to get it, how to keep it, and what to do with it. And she’s sharing life lessons from her own personal journey.

Marriage and family counselor; nationally recognized speaker and trainer; author, Happily Forever After and If God Loves Me, Why This?

The Parable of the Training Wheels…and other Proofs of God’s Love

Do you remember the first time you rode a bike without training wheels? How did it go? Did you fall once or twice? Did you have a few bruises to show it? Every life phase has a period of "training time" before we should expect to ride without falling. God, as the ultimate parent, seems to be more patient with our "training time" than we are. Kim teaches four truths that will help you put the falls and the bruises of life in a little better perspective as you see God's love in your experiences.

Drawing on Good Patterns

Leave your sewing tools at home. This mother of seven is not talking about those kinds of patterns. Are you hoping to raise good kids? While there might be headaches and heartaches along the way, with the Lord’s patterns as our foundation, that hope can turn into reality.

Skills from the Scriptures (for Good Times & Bad)

When Brent Top was asked to serve as a mission president, he thought he knew what it meant to rely on the Lord. But it wasn't until a personal crisis of confidence that he learned important lessons about what it really means to "focus on Christ" and allow Him to lift and strengthen us. Brent shares key spiritual skills that, when put into practice daily, will sustain you during good times and keep you from sinking during the bad.
