Thank you for sharing this SWEET experience with us!

Your experiences:

I had some reservations about going to this event and thought it wasn't worth the effort. My husband was going to take care of the kids but then made other plans. I thought oh well maybe another time. But friends stepped up to make it possible for me to go and I know it was meant to be. I was so excited to be there. The atmosphere of all the women gathered and the speakers made it fantastic. All the speakers are women who have the same goal in life as me and it made me want to go home and be better.

I had such an incredible time! This was the first women's conference I have ever attended. It was fun being able to share this experience with my best friends. It was the Time Out I have needed for a long time. I enjoyed every presenter who had something just for me to hear and learn. They also shared their laughter and love and the music from Hilary Weeks (and her humor) was the icing on the cake!! I look forward to attending next year's event--- but this time as a big girlfriend weekend in Logan!!!

I came to Time Out with an empty cup, and I left with it filled to overflowing. I laughed at stories and anecdotes I could relate to. I cried when I felt the Spirit whispering to me those truths that Heavenly Father wanted me to remember. The music was fantastic - I loved hearing the stories and reasons behind the artists' songs. In fact, during the music is when I felt those "sweet assurances" of the Spirit strengthening my testimony the most. I came with my mom and several women from my ward, but it was an experience that strengthened me personally, independent of who I came with (although I'm glad I had a few friends to sit with in such a large gathering!). I am so glad I came. I honestly feel bad for those women I know who were unable or didn't want to come. They really missed out.

This was a first for myself and my daughters. It was empowering to know that there are so many other women who feel like we do and want to do the best we can in raising righteous children and grandchildren. Thanks so much TOFW!
