Personal Notes

You can now send personal notes to another message board member. Click the screen name of the person who posted a message to send that individual a personal note. You can check to see if you have received any personal notes by clicking the "Personal Notes" link to the left of the page. If you do not wish to receive notes from someone, click the "block sender" link next to a note in your inbox.

Self-Moderating Features

1. Ignore. There is an "Ignore" link next to every post. When a member is ignored, all posts made by that member will be hidden from your view and your view only. Use this to hide from your view posts that may be troublesome to you but not to others. To remove a user from your ignored list, use the new Forum Preferences page.

2. Report. You can report an offensive post to our staff for review by clicking the "Report" link next to any post. Use this feature to report posts that are contrary to our terms. We may take one of several actions, such as banning the member who posted the message in question from future forum activity, or simply removing the individual message and sending them a warning.

Your Preferences

You can use the "Forum Preferences" link to the left of every forum page to unblock or unignore posters or note senders.
