Subject: Captain Whitney, Captain Whitney...

You know one of my relatives... I was reading his blog and you commented on his poem about the tree... you told him to read it out loud because his rhythm is off in spots... Sound familiar???

Well, that boy is my cousin. His dad is my uncle, even though we are the same age! LOL! I haven't met my young cousin since he was 1, because when I'm in Utah, his family usually isn't, or I'm not in their area. But, I read his dad's blog and it has his blog linked on it, so I read it every once in awhile. If you ask him about me, he probably has no idea who I am!

Are you in school with my cousin the poet?? It's a small world, especially in Utah!

If you are speaking of K'neth... then I also read his blog. And, yes... he is in school with Kat!e. :)

I think it's odd that these two children spell their names with punctuation marks - but who am I to say? lol

That's not really how he spells his name though... his mom doesn't even let anyone use the shortened version! His dad (my uncle) used to tease the heck out of her by saying he would call him a certain nick name that was the shortened version of his first and middle names!

I didn't know he went to a charter high school. Like I said, I haven't seen him since he was 1! They lived in AZ for a long time and I lived in ID. Then they moved to UT and it's been hit and miss. I just thought it was funny that I saw Captain Whitney's moniker on his blog! LOL!
