Subject: need prayers for our town/county

Dear Sisters.

I don't post much anymore just to darn busy, however I come and read from time to time. Well now it is my turn to ask for your prayers our town/county..... we have a serial killer on the loose. He started last Sunday.. robbery is not the motive. He stole one thing from the first victim, a gun. Tuesday he killed a mother and daughter and yesterday he killed a man a critically injured his 15 year old daughter who will most likely not survive.
My DH and his fellow officers are all on duty pretty much 24/7 until this person is caught. So please sisters prayers are needed for Cherokee County South Carolina...Particularly Gaffney.

I guess Satan is still proving he is in control of this world.

I am so sorry to hear that your husband and his fellow officers are dealing with this, and I will pray that they are successful in catching this person soon.

Remember that even though it might feel like it, God is still in control and can give you all peace. I wll pray for that, too.

Prayers for you all. Thank you and your husband for being willing to serve your area like that. My family has all the respect in the world for those serving in communities and in the armed forces.

thank you sisters for your prayers.

His spree started last Sunday, he hit Tues and Thurs. So if he is following a pattern today will be the day, and it is usually in the afternoon.
Hubby says because robbery does not seem to be a motive this is a thrill for the perp.. like a drug.

Hubby says this guy is not a Charles Manson type.. He approaches his victims with a meek and humble demeanor and when the victim lets their guard down he strikes.

We have had some friends call and wonder what more they can do. The advice given is use common sense..
don't open doors to strangers; if you they are out and shopping leave if they see someone that does not feel right leave the area and call 911. AND protect yourself!

Let's just say I have a healthy state of alertness.

everytime we turn around there are news crews everywhere. I am sure this guy is watching and getting his jollies.

Prayers being sent from my neck of the woods too!!! This is world is getting more wicked every day. I have all the admiration in the in the world for peace officers and the military. They have a tough job to do. Thanks goodness for them and for your husband!!! Good luck and be safe.

Ok ...
if I am reading correctly the young girl (15 years Old) died today. I have not had tv on but I am reading things on the net when I take a break from house cleaning. From what I understand her organs were donated.
My heart and prayers go to all the families of this tragedy.

So far so good...so to speak.
There were no killings yesterday ( which by his one week methodology, would have been yesterday.. Maybe he figured the 4th of July happenings would have overshadowed his glory.. I just hope they catch him soon.
