Subject: Do YOU believe in the Book of Mormon?

So a couple of days ago I finally listened to Elder Holland's talk on the Book of Mormon (i've been in surgery, hospital, etc.)
It was INCREDIBLE AND PASSIONATE AND MOVING.

I found myself wanting to put MY name out there in writing with my testimony. . . . so an idea was born. My son Connor put up a website called "BookofMormonWitness" where we can do just that --- put our names in writing out there for the world to see that we believe that the Book of Mormon is true. A simple thing, it is true. But I just want MY NAME ON THE LIST as a witness for all to see.

Would you like to add your name as well? Please join us, young and old, and forward this along to the rest of the world. We would love to have ALL who believe put their name down as a witness.

I added me, invited all my Facebook friends to add their witness and my LDS e-mail groups. What a great idea!

Thank you Merrilee and thank you Connor, for making it so easy (that´s nice for a change :)) to testify to the world of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon!

I loved watching elder Holland´s talk, which I had not seen yet from beginning till the end. I was totally moved by it.

I posted this on my facebook page and it's really bringing out interesting responses! (Opposition in all things comes to mind).
I'm so glad to have friends who stand strong and immoveable in their faith and are not afraid to stand up for what they know to be true.

Kudo's to you Lynette! Sometimes it is hard to broadcast your beliefs so that anyone can read them and be critical about them. It makes that scripture about "Are you ashamed" take on a whole new meaning! Keep up the good work!
