For your viewing "enjoyment"! =o)

http://tinyurl.com/yfomb87

If you leave the arrow of your cursor on the line of text at the top of each pic, it will show you the whole paragraph of what's written there.

I wish I had the pictures of what our house used to look like inside. We just subscribed to Carbonite a month ago--a service which saves all the files from your computer online and lets you restore them with a click of a mouse (and I'm sooooo grateful. We've been talking about it for a year or more!)--so they might be there once we get a computer restored with them. It would be fun to have a before and after of each room! =o)

We just got back online and I have a ton of stuff I need to do now. I'll update soon.
Thanks for your kind comments and prayers. We DEFINITELY feel VERY blessed!!!!

XO,

Vickie

I am so sorry for you at this time! I know it is overwhelming right now, but I am praying that you will have the blessings you need at this time to help get you through this challenge. I am so thankful that none of you were hurt.

Wish I was there to help out. I have been thinking about you a lot and "throwing up" prayers for you and your family (see post http://deseretbook.com/time-out/forum/time-out/588101).

Did you get to go to the Riverside TOFW?

As others have said, it is amazing how positive you are. I am so glad that you have been blessed through out this experience. Your testimony is a strength to me.

With love and hugs,
Toni

oh Vickie, Whit said it right in the other thread: you might just as well be called 'Job'.
I would be so devastated having lost my home, maybe not for me, but for the kids....
However if your attitude and faith reflects on the children and your husband....you are one miraculous woman!!! I suppose you have your wrestlingfights with Father in Heaven just as well as anyone else, but you always seem to come out stronger. Thank you for your example and sharing with us.

I think your house looked very much as a warm home on the inside (recognizing some of the furniture or what's left of it) and I am sure you are able to build a new one.
Home is where the heart is and as long as you are together as a family, trusting in God, you will find a home.

Is there anything, besides praying, the sisters on this board can do for you?

WOW Vicky...
I saw when you first posted about the fire... I think after looking at the pics my name would be mostly insane. I am glad to know you and your family got out with your lives and some keepsakes.

love

Unbelievable! You are a great example of recognizing blessings in the face of disaster. I hope the re-building process goes quickly and well! ((hugs)) and prayers!

Oh man, Vickie. Just looking at those pictures brought back distinct smells and memories from the fire we had in our apartment building when we wer managing apartments during dental school. One of our tenants died in it. It was so surreal walking through it...not even recognizing it anymore. I feel for you! Are you going to rebuild?
