Jenny Oaks Baker
Jenny Oaks Baker is one of America's most accomplished classical violinists. She began playing the violin at age four, and made her solo debut in 1983 when she was only eight years old. She received a bachelor's degree in violin performance from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and a Master of Music degree from the Juilliard School in New York City. Jenny has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center and has soloed with the National Symphony, Utah Symphony and the Jerusalem Symphony. She performed as a first violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra for seven years, before resigning in 2007 to devote more time to her young family. Jenny and her husband, Matthew, reside outside of Washington, D.C, with their four children. Her albums include The Best
of Jenny Oaks Baker, O Holy Night, Silver Screen Serenade and Then Sings My Soul.
