My 18 year old daughter and I just got home a couple of hours ago from our first ever Time Out!! WOW and WOW!! We LOVED it! So refreshing and uplifting!! We think Macy and Kris should be on the program always they were remarkable!! Thank you for having them,I also loved Deanne ,I have 5 daughters and it was great to hear from a mother with a large busy family. I really wished we had more female speakers however,I have great respect for our brotheren, however at a womens conference I wish we were hearing from more women than men.We all relate to each other and they can really speak to our hearts. I wouldn't mind the token man there to tell us how wonderful the sisters are. I know some sisters need to hear from a strong good man when that may lack in their lives. Thant's just what I was thinking, eveything else was so AMAZING!! I can't wait for the Salt Lake one so I can bring my teen daughters with me.Thanks again, and your M.C. was wonderful I LOVED her as well!!

I was touched in ways I never thought possible. I have set goals that I was scared to set ,Thanks to to your M.C. For her challenge to us.I dug deep thanks to Kris and embraced motherhood in a greater way thanks to Macy! Much LOVE!!

It was FABULOUS!! Every speaker left me with something powerful to take home. The music was phenomenal-- Jericho Road has been a favorite for a long, long time; and Macy has a very compelling and uplifting story. She was an inspiration. I especially LOVE the theme. It's amazing how often I find myself using the idea of 'becoming' in my daily life-- prayers, discussions, and especially self-talk. Thanks for an AMAZING weekend!! Sharilee

I appreciate the challenge you have stressed a number of times. Mine is to get my personal history written. I also want to keep my journal updated, as I have done this past year.

I can't tell you enough how much we have enjoyed the TOFW experiences and what it has meant for us. My daughter and daughter-in-law and I have attended 3 of these events so far, and this one in Ogden my daughter-in-law invited her mom to come with us. She loved it!! The Presenters and Musical numbers were fabulous and their spirits touch all of our hearts in a very special way. We send our love and many thanks for all of the people who spent many hours and alot of work to make these events possible. Please know how much we appreciate all you do to inspire and lift us..

Incredible event! For me, John Hilton III and Kris Belcher were my favorites. Jericho Road was fabulous! It was a wonderful weekend, took lots of notes and definitely left having specific goals in mind for who I want to become!
Kathryn
Amazing. I have never been to TOFW but will be sure to attend as often as I can now. thank you !
Nancy
thank you for all the many hours your staff and volunteers put in to create such an enjoyable weekend for so many women. It was my first time attending and I enjoyed every minute of it. Is it possible to have a copy a particular talk that was given?---If so I would REALLY REALLY like a copy of Deann Flynn's talk. It touched me deeply--Also Kris Belcher was amazing--she made me laugh like I used to when I was in my younger years and I needed that too. Thank you so much again---Laurel you are a hoot and perfect for this job!!!!!! Karen Fenn

I attended both days. This was my first experience with Time Out. It will not be my last. A friend from church had two tickets that her friend could not use due to a death in the family. THANK YOU!!!!! I came away spiritually fed and the cobwebs cleaned out of my head. WOW!!

Listen Up, This is Your Mother Talking!
While you might only have one mother, luckily we can be mothered by countless others if we are smart enough to listen. Virginia will put us in touch with some of our spiritual mothers--the women of the scriptures and the Restoration, who have so much to say that is more relevant today than ever before.

Line Upon Line
Life isn't usually about preplanned, prescheduled "big moments." And it's not often about taking long, dramatic jumps. Rather, it's step by step and line upon line. Just like a quilt is sewn in small squares rather than big chunks, see how the finished product of our life can be built in much the same way.

Musical Presentation
The "boy band" is all grown up! This group of dads and musicians (and even an attorney) has matured in their music and message (but not so much that they won't do the famous "Boy Band Medley"). With their tight harmonies and testimonies, JR is back and better than ever.

Nothing Shall Be Impossible
We know that grace will help us overcome our weaknesses. But, have you thought about it magnifying your strengths? The Savior's grace helps us become everything we are meant to be. Discover three scriptural keys for realizing the promise that "With God, all things are possible" (Mark 10:27).

The Problem with Conformity
There are some things that are important for us to conform to (like living the Ten Commandments and keeping our covenants). But the gospel of Jesus Christ is not a "cookie cutter" gospel. As individuals, with all our diversity, personality, and complexity, we each have a place at the table.

What Did You Just Say?
As a fiction writer, Dean is used to getting into the heads of his characters. Now he wants to help you get inside your own head. One of the most powerful tools in life is "self talk". For good or bad, what you're saying to yourself is impacting you. Learn new skills to help you stay focused on trusted beliefs.

Smoothing Out the Rough Spots
Our life's tests and difficulties can refine us; the rough spots in our hearts can be made smooth. We can become polished as we turn to the Savior. Kris's story shows how God used the challenge of going blind to help her see who she was meant to become. And you will see who YOU are meant to become too.

"Think Small" Mothering
Bigger isn't always better. And in mothering, sometimes we don't have to "think big" to have the impact we want to have in our homes. If it's true that "by small and simple things" great things can happen, then what seems miniscule can actually make the most significant difference of all.
