My TOFW experience was awesome, it always is!!! This time was even more special because I saw one of the missioanries who taught me the discussion almost 21 years ago,
Scott Frogley, Jenny Jordan Frogley's husband. I have always wondered if they were related & everytime I listen to her music I wonder. But when he was introduced Friday night my heart skipped a beat & I knew that it was him. It was the sweetest assurance I had that night. I am forever greatful.

i decided to make this an annual event. to take my daughter/daughter inlaws to get some together time, just as women. Give us a time to be ourselves, talk, listen, receive inspiration and have fun, eat chocolate. We have attended over the last 3 years in texas. Its been great to get away, together

This is the second opportunity I have had to attend a Time Out Event. It just gets better and better -- very organized -- very inspirational. Thanks to the many, many, many people it takes to put these events together. My husband said that I "looked different" when I returned from my trip to Texas. (Also attended in Nashville a few years ago.)
Thanks once again for all of your hard work to bring such an uplifting experience to us sisters.

I needed to bring tissue and Advil! I felt the Spirit so strongly that I cried a lot! It re-opened a direct line of communication with my Father in Heaven. I did what was suggested, asking a specific question and listening for the answer. I got it. And it was what had been holding me back from "getting over" my divorce. So it was a HUGE revelation for me, and much needed. I continued to ask a question the next day, and got an answer, and have done so with my scripture study every day since (also suggested by TOFW). What clarity! I knew I needed to come to TOFW, but I didn't know HOW MUCH I needed to come! It was way more than worth the effort of getting a babysitter for the first time ever (big step for a single mom!). Words cannot express my gratitude for the experience I had. I thank you, genuinely and sincerely, from deep within. Never fear, I thank my Father in Heaven too, for my experience, and for TOFW!

I went to this TOFW event feeling like a flicking ember. As I sat through each musical number and presentation I began to remember more and more why I know this church is true. I felt like I was a dry sponge in a soaking shower. The Spirit was ever present. Thank you for coming to Houston.

This was my 6th TOFW and it was wonderful. If you could bottle the sweet spirit of TOFW, it would be an elixir for the world!

This was a wonderful experience for me! I thoroughly enjoyed everything from the speakers to the wonderful and inspiring music. I went to TOFW with 2 needs or questions and they both were answered, it was a beautiful thing. I truly felt the spirit surrounding my whole body and I had never quite had an experience like that before. Thank you so much for the time, effort and hard work that was put into this great event. I definitely hope to make this an annual event!!!

I really enjoyed this event. I was touched by the messages given. I took the challenge to write the things that I know, and will continue to write as I think and ponder. It was a wonderful bonding experience for my 2 daughters and me! Thank you for coming!

I have been looking forward to this event for months. I have had the opportunity to attend many TOFW's and some of them tend to "run together" and "be the same"---but this one exceeded my expectations. I loved the variety of topics the presenters spoke about and also loved having 3 excellent musical performers with varied genres. The spirit was strong and it was a much needed girls get-a-way for my Mom, sisters, friends, and I. I was also able to be involved with the hosting staff and really enjoyed doing that for the 2nd time. I am grateful for the event and all that goes into making it possible.

Her resume is pretty impressive. She has sung with everyone from Ray Charles to The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She's a producer and a songwriter, but only after she's a wife and a mom. Finally out with her own albums of songs, we are thrilled to welcome Jenny to the TOFW family.

We know some of you know that song—you know, the one about the ant? Really? You don’t? Well, then, you are in for a treat. MEE has been learning about resilience: how to get it, how to keep it, and what to do with it. And she’s sharing life lessons from her own personal journey.

There's just something about his voice. We love it! And we also love and appreciate his rock-solid testimony of and passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He's a complete family guy but loves being with TOFW and we love having his spirit and heart with us.

The Best Time to Be Alive
For some this is a time of darkness and discouragement. For others it is a time of excitement and peace. There is no doubt that we are living in the Last Days. But God is intensely interested in our time and has shown that He loves and defends His people. This just might be the best time to be alive-and it is not in spite of the growing darkness in the world, but maybe because of it, that we will feel the sweet assurance that God is at the helm. His plan will not fail...and neither will we.

Skills from the Scriptures (for Good Times & Bad)
When Brent Top was asked to serve as a mission president, he thought he knew what it meant to rely on the Lord. But it wasn't until a personal crisis of confidence that he learned important lessons about what it really means to "focus on Christ" and allow Him to lift and strengthen us. Brent shares key spiritual skills that, when put into practice daily, will sustain you during good times and keep you from sinking during the bad.
