Your experiences:

I really enjoyed myself. Although I went there by myself, I found friends to sit with. I recieced the messages I need to hear. I have been going through a difficult time in my life and was inspired by Merrilee Boyack and Sister Belcher.

This was my first TOFW event and I loved it! Although I went by myself, I enjoyed it so much! All of the speakers were wonderful! The facility and the directors of this event made everything so user friendly and carefree for those of who attending, and that was very much appreciated!
—Ashley

It was fantastic! awesome! fabulous! great! etc, etc..... I had a really good time and left rejuvenated and ready to go another year. All of the presenters were speaking directly to me (sorry to everyone else) and I felt the spirit strongly. Each year I feel they get better and better, or else I just need them more and more!
—Tamara

Thank you for a most inspiring TOFW! Friday night and Saturday were most inspiring. Please thank the presenters for us. We know they took valuable time from their lives to bring hope and inspiration to Indpls. women. I came home Friday night and kept my husband up while I discussed the talks and music with him. We both "floated" through the weekend with the Spirit carrying us, all mostly due to TOFW. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
—Beverly

Great time to get away and focus on something else other than the noise of life. Grateful to all the presenters who shared their lived experiences in order to give everyone hope and understanding. I get bogged down in my own struggles and "stuff" of life and forget that I am not the only one with challenges and trials. I needed this weekend to remind me of the greater picture and goal and to look around and see that others suffer too! We need to share, lift, and carry each other through our lived experiences, so that we all gain the hope of the ultimate goal...eternal life with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ!
—Deborah

This was my 1st time with you all and WOW, what a blessing it was for me and the group of women that came with me! I loved it. The music was so very moving Micheal McLean and Mercy River were both so wonderful. Not just the music but the testimony shared with the music. I have never been as moved by music in my life. Through music the Spirit of our Savior is able to flow freely and my appreciation for the artists is so much deeper. This theme was truly inspired! As the times we are living in continue to grow more difficult it is good to be reminded that we do indeed have HOPE for and in all things good. Thank you so much for your effort to bless the lives of the women of the world. We need you! Keep on keeping on! And lastly please consider having a TOFW in Michigan!! We love you. Thank you again, Ronda Norris
—RONDA

What a blessing for us women to be reminded that we are all daughters of loving Heavenly Parents who love us beyond measure, and want us to be reminded that there is HOPE when we put our lives in the hands of our Savior. The presenters were awesome, and so inspirational. Thank you!!!

All of us have “strengthening opportunities” given to us: moments when we can choose to be strong, positive, and hopeful—or not. And that choice impacts our ability to endure and to cope.  There is power in proactively choosing a positive attitude no matter what comes our way.

Kris Belcher

Facing the Sun
Being diagnosed with cancer and ultimately losing her sight initially left Kris Belcher in a hopeless state. But, she learned that when she walked, facing the light of the sun, the light from THE Son filled her dark world with a light only He could give.

Mariama Kallon

Survivor of war-torn Sierra Leone, humanitarian beneficiary; LDS convert and public speaker; attended LDS Business College

Raised in war-torn Sierra Leone, Mariama Kallon saw many things as a young girl that might fill a person with fear and hatred. Soon after witnessing the violent murders of parents and siblings and spending her youth fleeing from rebels, she was introduced to the gospel of Jesus Christ and found hope in God and peace in a knowledge of eternal families. She was given a humanitarian kit by the Church, which became a treasured symbol of hope that she used to bless the lives of many as they again fled for their lives. After returning to her town, she was called on a mission to the Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission, and wept in gratitude to the Lord as she visited the place where her precious humanitarian kit was made. Today Mariama stands as an example of the divine purposes of humanitarian work and tells her story to numerous audiences, urging them to participate in this work.
