2012time out for women tour

FAQs

What is the dress code?

Nice casual attire is appropriate. TOFW is an event, not a typical conference and Sunday dress is not expected or necessary.

Can Nursing Mothers Attend?

Children (including toddlers) are not permitted at a Time Out for Women event. The only exception to this is nursing infants. In order to provide a great experience for both the mother and other attendees, ushers will be there to assist mothers with infants to designated seating areas. We will also provide a mothers lounge where sound from the event will be available.

What is Time Out?

Time Out for Women is an inspirational event for women. Attendees are treated to messages of inspiration from respected authors and music artists. TOFW offers a day of learning, laughing, and lifting of spirits. It's a great opportunity for women everywhere to gather and get recharged through motivational messages and music.

Who May Attend?

Time Out for Women is designed for women ages sixteen and older. We regret that children and toddlers cannot be accommodated. The only exception to this rule is for mothers nursing infants. The entire TOFW staff are aware of women of other faiths at the event and will do all they can to ensure a comfortable experience.

Will there be any parking vouchers?

It is the responsibility of the attendee to pay for parking at the event . A link to venue parking information has been included on the event page if available.

What is a GROUP DISCOUNT?

A group discount is available when you PRE-REGISTER a group of 4 or more persons. Pre-registration deadlines vary with each city and can be found on the specific event page. The PRE-REGISTRATION group rate is $52 per person (ONLY applies to full-weekend pre-registration). The purchase must be made by one person, who is then responsible for distributing the tickets to their group members.

Can I bring food? What about lunch?

There will be an 85-minute lunch break on Saturday. We recommend you and your group make plans in advance for this lunch break.

Please Note: No outside food will be allowed in the venue. If available, information regarding concessions and restaurants near the venue will be available online 2-3 weeks prior to the event.

2012 Toronto

We are so sorry that we were not able to keep Toronto on our schedule for 2012, but we will for sure be back there…and hopefully in 2013. There are a lot of factors that go into our planning and at this time we had to make this decision. Thank you for your great support to the TOFW program…we hope to see you soon!

How can I get a ticket to a sold out event?

We recommend that you post a plea on the TOFW Facebook page letting people know you are looking for tickets. We direct people with extra tickets to post on this page. On the left side of the screen, click on ‘Events’, then click on the city that you want to attend. Once you are on the page for that city, click on ‘Join’ in the upper right-hand corner, and it will open up a ‘Write Something’ bar and let you post a message. Make sure you give enough information for people to be able to contact you easily, and check the site often for anyone posting that they have a ticket to sell.

I have a conflict on the event date. What can I do with my ticket?
