Great resource for FHE, date night or evening with the fam!

Each family friendly movie coincides with the standards for media laid out in the strength of youth pamphlet. More than that though there are discussion guides, along with scriptures and quotes from latter-day prophets regarding the theme of each movie. Looking for a movie on charity, repentance, honesty, chastity or forgiveness? Just flip to the index by topic and take your pick. Definitely a resource for every latter-day home!

Great resource for families who want to enjoy a night at the movies together at home!

I had the privilege of reading an advanced copy of this book and really enjoyed the films included. I had not seen many of recommended movies but since reading "250 Great Movies for LDS Families," my husband and young daughters and I have plugged away at what we've been missing and really enjoyed our family nights together. I am excited to use the gospel topics index included when my girls are a little older and may have questions about certain doctrine.
While it's not the final say on films for you and your family, I really appreciate the frame of mind it has given me when selecting what media to expose my own young children to.

Help in choosing good family movies

A great book to help families find movies that are uplifting, enriching, and in line with gospel standards. That can be hard nowadays since the values in Hollywood are becoming more and more secular. But there are still great movies that can be not only entertaining, but also can be used to teach good values to your family. This book is a good guide to help with that.
