Before The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was officially organized, its keystone was in place. That keystone, the Book of Mormon, has been shared, studied, respected, and embraced by millions of people the world over. It has also been scrutinized, analyzed, dismissed, even ridiculed by critics for nearly 200 years.
In this volume, best-selling author Tad Callister offers a comprehensive overview of many of the critics' claims and provides carefully reasoned explanations that shed new light on the discussion. He presents compelling evidence, both physical and spiritual, for the authenticity of the Book of Mormon and invites readers on a spiritual journey that promises a witness stronger than any intellectual argument could create.
"The book focuses on a case for the Book of Mormon," Brother Callister writes, "but in one sense the Book of Mormon does not need a case presented on its behalf. It is its own best witness—its own best evidence. . . .It bears witness of the Savior with precision and power; and it invites the Spirit in unrestrained proportions. Every aspect of the Book of Mormon bears witness of its divine origin because, in fact, it is divinely inspired."

A mature testimony of The Book of Mormon is developed through intellectual and spiritual study. This book encourages a healthy balance of both heart and mind.
What an engaging and in-depth read on the "Key Stone Of Our Testimonies". Through the years, I've heard criticisms of the Book Of Mormon including discussions with colleagues during my professional career. Brother Callister effectively addresses every argument against this Book of Books. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has left the church and wants to once again "Hold tight to the Iron Rod"- Truly, it is the Word of God.
Absolutely fabulous. Will listen over and over again.
The book, 'A Case for the Book of Mormon' is well written with the deep research trade mark of the author, Elder Tad Callister. upon listening to the audio reading, [which I repeat regularly, I ordered the hardcopy, which is yet to arrive.
I sincerely, recommend the book for every member and family of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, as it helped me deepen my testimony. It emboldens every ready with a ready made defence for the Book of Mormon.
if it is possible, it should be in the hand of every missionary of the Church. Take my thanks to Elder Tad Callister, for his great works.
Timely and well written. Especially appreciated his approach to both the intellectual and then spiritual side of validating the Book of Mormon.
This book was not only marvelous but has taught me so much. I am so glad he wrote it from both the misconceptions about our beliefs in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but then by the truth our gospel brings. I found it very strengthening to my testimony.
Outstanding writing of evidences for the truth of the Book of Mormon and of its divine authenticity. This book becomes an added witness of Joseph’s divine calling and of his willingness to follow divine guidance. I would recommend this to everyone!!!
One of the best books I’ve read about the Book of Mormon. Highly recommend it!
Great book that reviews each of the common criticisms of the Book of Mormon very clearly. My favorite portion was the chapter discussing the new doctrine found in the Book of Mormon.
Enjoyed and something I will want to study again and again

What an awesome book. Plain and simple.
I love this book. For me it is one of the best books about the Book of Mormon. I especially appreciate the chapters which adress questions of the doctrine and pointing out doctrines which expand on the understanding of the Bible by other Christian denominations at the time of the Prophet Joseph Smith and at our time.
Wonderful witness to the divine origin of the Book of Mormon and the Prophetic calling of Brother Joseph.
I initially thought I have a testimony by faith that the Book of Mormon is true but this was recommended by my sister-in-law. Just as Brother Callister’s other books, it was not disappointing. Not being aware of the many critics and their adverse opinions and arguments, they felt excessive to me but that is what the book’s about, those with little to no faith. I love page 35 and refer to it often. Heavenly Father ‘brought up’ a most extraordinary man to restore His church.
Being familiar with the other writings of Brother Callister, this book did not disappoint! At times we forget the critics of the book and their specious claims. Brother Callister, in his usual thorough way, makes them irrelevant. I never, ever, doubted the Book of Mormon, but sometimes we need to see the solid ground that it stands on now and we will see more proofs as more studies are completed.
I just finished listening to the free audio via my Plus account. Rarely do I just want to by a book after listening to it but this book is definitely one that has to be owned, read and re-read. Not to mention the marking up so I can easily find things for quick reference. I love Elder Callister's writing but this is the best book ever, simple and well, just wonderful.
I really enjoyed this book. I learned so much! The author provides a lot of information to "prove" that the Book of Mormon is true, but then he teaches the we do not really need to prove anything, the BOM is not on trial. We need to learn that it is true through study of the Book of Mormon and through prayer. I loved everything I learned- even though I felt like a few of the arguments would not be strong enough to convince the critics- the information was very informative and interesting. The book helped me build my testimony and feel even more grateful to have the sacred book. I would recommend this book to everyone.
This is well written and very helpful in adding to my testimony of the Book Of Mormon
I really enjoyed reading this book and learned much about the critics through the years that I didn't know about. This book was so well explained and researched. I have read the Infinite Atonement by Elder Callister three times and he is such a good writer and makes the subject so well understood. He also did an amazing job on "A Case for the Book of Mormon". Of course, I am one that thinks anyone who reads the Book of Mormon should believe it is true. The Spirit is in every word. It would be very good reading for the skeptics to see how crazy some of their problems with the book sound.
Tad Callister never disappoints.!! This wonderful book will prove to be very helpful to anyone who enjoys sharing their love for Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A great book for future missionaries to study before entering the mission field.
