Product Description

Amid the hustle and bustle of life, it is all too easy to allow distraction to dull our spiritual sensitivity and prevent us from recognizing the hand of the Lord in all things. But by quieting the noise of the world and recognizing instances of divine help and guidance, we can discern a multitude of tender mercies: gifts from our Father in Heaven designed to buoy us up throughout our lives.

In this third volume of true stories from bestselling author Judy C. Olsen, Church members share their profound personal experiences in a powerful testament to the Savior’s love and concern for His children. From incredible blessings through heeding inspiration to miraculous interventions from beyond the veil, each faith-promoting story serves as a moving reminder of our Heavenly Father’s personal concern for each of His children.

Title is a little deceiving...

I have not followed this series, but by the title I was lead to believe the book was all about angels- both angelic and heaven-sent morals- among us. However, the book is several individual'a accounts of how they followed inspiration or how the Lord blessed them. "Following the Holy Spirit" would be a more accurate title. They are mostly good stories, but about half of them are about getting a death sentence when they were diagnosed with cancer. They also include a biography about each person after their story- even sharing what city they live in and every kids' name. Most of the people who shared were authors and it felt like the stories were dramatized and fabricated to get 15 minutes of fame. The man who reads the audio book had a very hard voice to listen to, the woman does fine but after several stories her voice gets old. Out of 3 CDs I only found 2 stories particularly interesting and touching. I would not recommend this audio book or series to anyone. Disappointing.
