This may be a great book, but listening to it on CD was quite discouraging. The narrator read it in a dull and amateurish style.
I thought the writing was very ragged.
There were a lot of things left dangling.
I liked to twist to the plot, but I had to go back and write all the characters down to keep everyone straight.
It's amazing that she wrote this after losing her memory of writing, but someone should have helped her smooth it out and tie up all the loose ends
I loved this book. I had a hard time putting it down. It is a different twist to mystery and I loved all the twists and turns. I cant wait to read her first two books.
This book could be on many bestseller lists. It was very well written and engaging. The characters were well developed and believable and the plot was always interesting with twists just when you thought you had it figured out. No LDs church references - just good clean suspense. Excellent for book clubs.
This is G G Vandagriff's best book yet. I read it cover to cover at the first sitting. You can't figure out the ending which is something I really like.
The descriptions of scenery are vivid and allow the reader to be wisked away to Wales. There are so many twists and turns you may find yourself a little dizzy, but you won't be able to put the book down. I was so excited to find a clean, well-written book that was not based in church beliefs and that I didn't feel awkward sharing with my friends.
I was priviledged to read G.G.'s manuscript of The Arthurian Omen as she was writing it. I could hardly wait for the next installment as she typed away. I don't think there was anything that I didn't like in the story. It is an exciting page turner and the characters are intriging, mysterious and thought-provoking. I enjoyed the book completely from the very beginning to the very last page. I hated to see it end.
Having a chance to read this book prior to its release, I wanted to share my views about this wonderful and beautifully written novel. The Arthurian Omen is as good as ANY national suspense/mystery I have ever read. I highly recommend this book for women AND men. It's an unexpected thrill ride with an unexpected and rewarding ending. Enjoy!
The Arthurian Omen will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next. Don't read it thinking you have the story figured out. You are going to be surprised. I am a big fan of Mary Higgins Clark, and GG's new book is written with the same brilliance of mystery writing. The Arthurian Omen is definitely GG Vandagriff's best book yet. I look forward to reading many more great mysteries from this talented author.
I love mysteries and this was an awesome one. It kept my attention and kept me guessing.
