My kid and I (and my primary class) loved this sweet book. It introduces the Atonement and the sacrifice Christ made for all of us in a simple way, while also introducing more complex ideas and words. Such a sweet story and great way to share how special each of us are and how much Christ has done for us .
This book shares the heart of the Atonement of Jesus Christ is a beautifully plain and simple way that is easily accessible for small children!! It really made me think of when they say in the Book of Mormon that we should delight in plain and simple truths! This book is a delight!!
I love reading children’s books! The way they tend to rhyme just works for me. And who doesn’t love to look at the pictures?! I know that’s my favorite part.
This cute little picture book would be perfect to read to your young ones at night. It has a great cadence for reading aloud. I also would love it for family home evening. The way the author explains the atonement is simple enough for young kids. But at the same time it’s complex enough for the adults who are reading it to the kids.
And I loved the illustrations. It’s just an all-around great kids book!
I loved this sweet book that helps children understand the Atonement and how they can access its blessings. Of course there is an emphasis on Christ, and the loving way He helps us when we turn to him through prayer and the choices we make when we need help. The illustrations are simple yet powerful, and will be easy for children of all ages to relate to. This is a great resource for introducing children to a deeper relationship with Jesus and a perfect gift for children turning 8 and preparing for baptism.
(I received a complimentary copy of the book; all opinions in this review are my own)
