Amazing, entertaining, thought-provoking book. I became so drawn in by the characters and storyline that I couldn't put it down - finished it in about 4 days. Definitely highly recommend this book - you won't regret it! An amazing debut by Ms. Black.

This book blew me out of the water. With twist after twist and turn after turn, I was rushed from one page to the next in a whirlpool of action and suspense. And just when I thought it was over, another roadblock loomed, one that seemed impossible. It's rare that a novel can so completely capture my attention. This was truly an accomplishment and I am looking forward to Stephanie's next book.

The Believer is one of the best sci-fi LDS fiction novels to come out of the woodwork in years and I read this BEFORE we found out that Stephanie and I are cousins!!!!! The plotline was scary, as it could happen. This book is very thought-provoking, had me hooked from page one to the end. I'm very grateful Stephanie has a sequel coming soon. Bravo, Cuz!!!!!!!!!!!! I've already loaned my copy to a friend in our ward book club and she devoured it!!!!!If you like futuristic thrillers, this is the book for you. I would hate to have to read my scriptures in secret. Spooky!!!!!
