She attended Brigham Young University, married and had six children before she decided to go to medical school. Judi graduated from Western University of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She started her practice in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, taught at her Alma Mater, and then moved to Utah, where she worked at the Freedom Center for Advanced Medicine. While there, she co-authored Marie Osmond's book, Behind the Smile: My Journey Out of Postpartum Depression, and wrote Healing from the Heart: The Inherent Power to Heal from Within. After her divorce she became the Area Medical Advisor to about 2500 LDS missionaries in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, living in Buenos Aires for 18 months. Life Changing Book

What a profound effect this book has had on my life! I don’t suffer from clinical depression or anxiety, but as an LDS woman, I am very prone to the “perfectionist” mentality. Dr. Moore has done a great service to women and the LDS community by writing this book. Perhaps many of the concepts are not brand new ideas, but Dr. Moore presented them in a way that really penetrated my heart. This may be because she was my physician briefly 10 years ago, and is one of the most gentle, sincere, and loving people I know. She is a true healer. I am sharing “Between Two Minds” with everyone I know. It will be a book I reread at least once a year. I really can’t recommend it highly enough!
