Product Description

"The Lord is hastening His work to gather Israel," declared President Russell M. Nelson. "That gathering is the most important thing taking place on earth today." In this book you'll find answers to questions:

  • So I'm from Ephraim or Manasseh? So what?
  • What does it mean if I'm from another tribe?
  • What does it mean to gather Israel?

As members of the Church, we are often told to obey commandments because we are children of God or because we have been saved for the last days. But isn't everyone on earth right now a child of God who has been saved? What sets Latter-day Saints apart?

We have a birthright! We have been given much—temporally and spiritually. Now it is time for us to use what we have been given to make an eternal difference for people throughout the world—in other words, to gather Israel.

"Don't let the world change you," writes Brad Wilcox, "when you were born to change the world!"

This book was awesome to read!!! As someone who is about to leave on a mission, it helped me to understand in a deeper way what my real purpose is. I also learned a lot about the specific tribe that I am a part of, as identified in my patriarchal blessing. I 100% recommend this book for anyone and everyone, no matter what stage of life, because there is truly learning and benefits to be had from reading it.

I didn't know how much I didn't know

This is a great introduction to the 12 tribes and the purpose of the gathering of Israel. It was eye-opening to see how much information is available to us. I always assumed it was more mysterious that it really is.

Fantastic Read!

Born to Change the World is a fantastic read! It simply explains the 12 tribes of Israel, and what our lineage from them means to us personally today. I love that Brad Wilcox includes some visual details in his explanation, and starts you off on your own journey to learn for yourself what your lineage means for your potential. I would highly recommend this book. It helps you feel that you can make an important difference in this world.

Greater Understanding

This booklet was truly fascinating! It gives deep understanding as to why we need to gather Israel in our last days and in-depth about the 12 tribes of Israel. Symbolisms, Meanings and questions that make you think deeply about each tribe and how the tribes are like the world today. Positively one that every person needs to read in order to get a deeper understanding as to why we all are a part of this plan and how to prepare for the Last Days.

Wonderful book

I stumbled across this book one day while browsing Deseret Book. It is a wonderful addition to the insigth we gained from reading the Book of Mormon last year and short and VERY to the point of this time and age preparing for the Second Coming. Listening it takes 2 hrs. 13 minutes. Time well spent. Thanks brother Wilcox.

Must Read!

What a great little book that very simply explains the lineage of the 12 tribes of Israel, where they lived, and how we today come from one of these ancestors. My daughter ( my son’s wife really) is from of of the lesser known tribes and has found little information on them in the past. This book with its maps and histories has been a great help to her. It has inspired me to try and find out more. It had interesting insights as to where the missing tribes could be and our part in helping to gather them all together before the second coming of the Lord. I loved it and was inspired by it!

Brother Wilcox definitely hit this one out of the ballpark! I have recommended this book to family and friends and EVERYONE ends up getting their own copy to re-read over and over again. There is so much knowledge and Brother Wilcox helps show you how the Abrahamic Covenant applies to your personally. This book is amazing and you will NOT regret buying it. Give it a try and then lend it to your friends. This is a "must read" for everyone to understand how important your role is in this life.

I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. However, the book is so full of information and quotes and things I would like to remember that I really wish I had the ebook or physical version in front of me. I believe the book is more directed to the youth, but I really liked it anyways. I would recommend this book to everyone. It is a great read and I learned a lot.

I loved this quick and easy to understand lesson in the gathering of Israel. I learned so much and left feeling a new sense of determination to do my part.

I especially appreciated the explanation of Old Testament ideas and symbols. Very, very helpful.

Remember Who You Are

Brother Wilcox came to the Charleston SC Adult Singles Conference just recently in April and I felt very much that it was a tender mercy from our Father in Heaven for me to here Brother Wilcox in person. We did get to here from him some of this new book and it was my joy to stand up on stage and become part of his presentation about the 12 tribes of Israel. Brother Wilcox had only a certain amount of time to present what he could to us and it was fabulous. I was excited to see this on Deseret Books yesterday and was able today to listen to the rest of what I'm sure he would love to have presented at that conference. I have been asking many questions lately of why I'm I here, what is purpose and I believe that Brother Wilcox really takes a scalpel to the story of Twelve Tribes and through his understanding of the gospel, with I'm sure much prayer and fasting, has answered for now questions that I have been pondering. Thanks Brother Wilcox for all you do for our Father in Heaven and for His family.

A family book to treasure!!

Brad hits the nail on the head again with this insightful and inspiring book. A while back my husband and I attended a fireside in which Brad brilliantly had the youth role-play some of the content and treasures found within this book. I remember afterwards actually silently praying that my grandchildren would someday be able to hear Brad’s fireside so that they could more easily and fully understand their part in the gathering of Israel and the history and importance of the twelve tribes. Well my prayers were answered! I can’t wait to give this book and read with them. How fortunate we are to have Brad’s thought provoking and encouraging words on paper!

Short book with a lot of information.

With less than 100 pages, this book is full of gospel knowledge of gathering Israel. Brad Wilcox explains the 12 tribes, how they are lost and scattered and our role in gathering Israel in preparation of the Second coming. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" - Brad Wilcox
