Product Description

In a world of constant distractions no matter where we look, it's easy to get caught up in all that is going on and to lose sight of our relationship with the Lord. In this engaging presentation based on Doctrine and Covenants 19:23, John Bytheway teaches the importance of keeping the "main thing, the main thing." Dividing the scripture into four lessons (learn, listen, walk, and recognizing true peace), John explores how teens can navigate the busy world while keeping their focus on the Savior, Jesus Christ. Using his signature style of scriptural stories, quotations from Church leaders, and a good dose of humor, Brother Bytheway encourages listeners to learn of Christ, listen to His voice, walk in His path, and recognize the true peace that comes only through obedience to the Lord.

Peace in Christ

Although Brother Bytheway was speaking to the youth, and geared his comments to them, I'm a old lady and I truly enjoyed this talk. I loved how he explained the meaning of meekness. His stories and examples are always food for thought and are applicable to any age.. Another winner!

Great talk for the youth

This MP3 is a live recording of one of John Bytheway's talks. It goes with the 2018 youth theme, so it is perfect for teens to listen to. It is such a nice talk and he has just he right way of talking to the youth. It is also really good for adults as well. You do not need to be a teen to enjoy his talks. I would really recommend this talk to all the youth. It is the perfect way to get into the theme for the year. It is short and sweet but you learn so much from it.
